Day 1 – Delhi – Bagdogra – Darjeeling
Reach Bagdogra by flight. Check-in to your hotel relax or enjoy the local markets.
Day 2 – Darjeeling
Wake up early to enjoy the serene sunrise over Mount Everest and the Kanchenjunga Peaks.
Head to the Tibetan styled Ghoom Monastery. It enshrines a 15 foot high statue of the Maitreya Buddha.
Visit Observatory Hill (Makal-Babu-Ko-Thaan) for a view of the Himalayas and Dhirdham Temple here you can see a statue of Lord Shiva portraying the five different facial expressions.
Another place to visit is the serene Lloyd Botanical Garden most notably the beautiful collections of Orchids.
Overnight stay in the hotel – Darjeeling
Day 3 – Darjeeling – Rumtek – Gangtok (Capital of Sikkim)
Drive to Gangtok On the way you will pay a visit to Rumtek Monastery , also known as Dharmachakra Centre.Once ready we will continue onwards to Gangtok, upon your arrival you will have the evening to explore the local markets and small shops.
Day 4 – Gangtok
First, we will head over to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology. Enjoy going through the museum .
A visit to Orchid Sanctuary, located next to the Institute of Tibetology, .
We will visit the most important stupa within Sikkim, Do DrulChorten..
Head back your hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 5 – Gangtok – Tshangu Lake – Kalimpong
Journey onwards to Kalimpong Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. Relax full day excursion to Tshangu Lake.
There is a small market nearby; during the months of June to July there is a high chance of snowfall which will beautifully decorate the area.
After basking in the view of the area driven back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 – Kalimpong – Siliguri
Full day sightseeing of Kalimpong, starting with TharpaCholing Monastery ,Tengboche Monastery, the Bhutanese Thongsa Gompa, Brindavan Garden Nursery.
Back to Siliguri checked-in to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 7 – Siliguri – Bagdogra – Delhi
Enjoy your day in Siliguri . Tibet Monastery is recommend For those looking to do some last minute sightseeing. For those that wish to shop head over to the Bazaar.
Transfer to Bagdora, upon your arrival cab for the airport will be waiting for your flight to Delhi.
